One June 9th, 2012, we had the pleasure of doing a destination wedding at the Onteora Mountain House, – again. Ms. Megan and Mr. Connor honored us with allowing us to do their floral decor….and we had a blast. You may have noticed I always spout about team work, professionalism and working together to make the client happy, well it was definitely no different here. Between the owner, Bob McBroom and his general manager, Jeremy Hudler, it was and has always been a vendors dream. So between them and their wonderful staff, we proceeded to do our thing and create a gorgeous setting of variation, cut glass with lots of candles up and down…it was breath-taking.
The best part, was when Megan’s sister walked by the pavilion and screamed OMG, did you guys see the flowers….i had to presume we did well and proceeded with my lovely staff of young ladies, (aren’t they beautiful), and Jeff to do some finishing and touch up and get out-of-the-way. I have included a few photos of my own, but…..wait till you see what Ms. Karen from Karen Wise Photography shot. Again, lovely, professional and patient – what can i do for you Barry? So,…as is typical in the photo world, it takes a few weeks before we can see the “fab” photos, for they have to be processed, gone over to perfection….we just have to be patient!!
Later on during breakdown, Megan and Connor were so sweet and thoughtful with their praise, that truly is our favorite part and can’t wait for them to come back from Spain to tell us about how fabulous their honeymoon was. So until the finished photos come and the Kilpatrick’s come back with their tales of love and inspiration…..there is another event waiting to talk about.
Thanks for your praises for our site and our efforts. It’s always a pleasure when we see that you two are going to be working with us again.
We always think your creations somehow combine city sophistication and country charm, and we are always surprised to see what new things you come up with.
Keep up the good work looking forward to your return.
Bob and Jeremy, Onteora Mountain House
